Medicamp Oooh Yeah
Oh gosh. Medicamp was like last month and I STILL haven't blogged about it. Just too darn lazy... But I shall haul my lazy ass to blog just because I'd rather do this than read my Physio notes for tomorrow :)
1. Boys watch the Oprah Winfrey show too. I was so amused at the sight of them watching it so intently at 9.30am in the morning.
2. Not all Medicine students are stuffy and serious. On the contrary they're quite outgoing and enthusiastic.
3. I have never ever been surrounded by so many smart people in my life.
4. With reference to point 3, just cos they're smart doesn't mean they're stuck up. They're actually nice and funny people with whom I'd like to be friends with for a looong time.
5. Aladdin rocks! Hey, at least we didn't come in last :)
6. This is the first time I've had an orientation camp at a chalet. It was at Aloha Loyang which is like one of the best chalets I've been to. Sleeping wasn't too bad cos I got the bed but I swear I didn't insist on it. I didn't mind the floor, really.
7. Fright Night was hot, sweaty and kinda scary. It was a unique experience though cos I've never done it before. The closest thing to it would probably NPCC Solo Walk which is scarier for me cos you go alone -hence the name- and it's totally silent. Fright Night was full of screams, which I suppose was the aim of it, but then you know there are people around.
8. This is also one of the most relaxing camps I've been to cos there were many many breaks and a LOT of waiting around. Though having organised at least one camp before I totally understand...
9. I miss Medicamp! I miss Aladdin 101! Don't take offence, Aladdin freshies. I look forward to getting to know you all too!
Alrighty, time to get back to Cardiovascular action potentials!
